Presentation to the Herb Society of SA

·BlogEvent Recap

We had a wonderful afternoon with the Herb Society of SA at Findon Community Centre, talking about practical climate action in the home garden — and how community groups like ours can support change.

A warm welcome

Members of the Herb Society of SA invited Mission Possible to share a short presentation at their April gathering. We talked through what Mission Possible is, what we've learned from a year of energy advisory sessions, and the small home-and-garden actions that have surprisingly big climate impacts.

What we covered

  • How a community-led group differs from top-down climate programs
  • Practical actions for home gardeners — composting, water, native plants
  • The link between household energy and what we grow, cook and eat
  • How members can connect with us and the Action Plan

A huge thank you to the Herb Society of SA for the invitation, the great questions, and the herb tea. We learned as much as we shared.
